We had a pleasant experience, table was ready when we arrived. Staff all friendly and helpful. Drinks arrived and Food soon after, well presented and very tasty. Clear instructions given on how to cook your meat on the very hot stone. A nice meal.

OMG! I don't know where to start. I made a reservation for me and four nephews for a New Year's Eve dinner, which was far beyond what we expected. The menu was different from what was online, but this made the meal. You cook your choices on a stone grill (hence the name). I had tuna steak, salmon, and prawns. I won't go into the whole experience. This restaurant is an experience. The cost isn't bad either. For 5 three and 4-course meals and 12 alcoholic beverages, the bill was under USD 500. I forgot to mention the staff. EVERYONE was amazing. They were attentive, explained the menu, gave suggestions, and had my nephews try amazing new things. You must have the waffle dessert option (I forgot the name). I would recommend everyone traveling to Amsterdam to make this a stop on your trip.

Highly recommended. Our group (9 people) had a fantastic evening. All dietary requirements were catered for - we advised in advance when making the reservation.

Disappointed with our recent visit. Steak was not as good as we had hoped. It was thrown onto the hot stone without asking us. Fries were basically just mass produced wedges. It was ok, but not the experience I was expecting. We were out within one hour!

Das Abendessen war genial. Ich hatte zur Vorspeise das Carpacho und zum Hauptgang den Grillmix. Die Vorspeise kam ca 3 min nach dem wir bestellt haben und war sehr gut. Der Hauptgang sobald wir bereit wahren. Zum Nachtisch gab es noch einen Chesecake, den alles was ich je probiert habe, übertroffen hat. Ich kann es nur bestens weiterempfehlen. Grill auf dem heissen Stein ist das Erlebnis wert

We visited after reading other trip advisor reviews and booked in advance of our trip. The concept isn't new or unique, we've been to others the same, but we knew this, this is why we booked. You order your steak of choice with accompanying dishes and the steak comes raw on a hot stone and you cook it to your preference at the table. Steak was delicious, we both chose the Black Angus, chips and pepper sauce, but it also came with mushroom sauce and a garlic mayo dip plus salad. The dips and chips were also delicious. We completed the meal with a lemon meringue pie and a cheesecake. The total with two drinks and tap water (lemonade and 0% beer) was around 85 euros. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant. Its walking distance from the main city area of Amsterdam, friendly restaurant staff and easy to book

I really enjoyed eating dinner here . The food is excellent the menu is really good but best of all the nicest staff I have ever seen in Amsterdam , I dropped a glass and it broke every and the staff was very nice to me about it and cleaned it up in seconds this place treats you like family and I recommend this restaurant to everyone and I will be back and so will all of my friends 5 stars

The food here is very reasonably priced and served very fast due to the concept and clever preparation. The ribs are surprisingly good, especially for the price! The seasoning was nice and the quality of the meat is very good. We also had the barbecue chicken: a juicy chicken breast, pounded flat in the kitchen (you can hear them work your food, hehe). Anything with a stone grill symbol is served on a hot stone on your table, so you can cook it to your liking. They have various cuts and from what we saw on tables next to us, the cuts of meat were gorgeous. Might try that if we come here again! Keep in mind that the prices on the menu online (and outside) are not up to date. You pay about €3 more per dish than what's listed on the website. They should have been honest about that. There also is hardly any space to move; it's very cramped (like less than a hand of space between tables). At times it felt like we were sharing a table with the people next to us. 🙃

Awesome experience with the best steak and drinks in Amsterdam. Stayed in Amsterdam for a week and I came here 3 times as this is exceptional quality in comparison with Amsterdam.

We came in on time per reservation time but no body attended to us till we asked for 2 times. The first wine served was bad, but we changed to a different bottle. Then the food came, it was ok, not the best meat quality for the price though. The overall service was ok, not really worth the high number reviews.

Went here for a Birthday meal with my wife. Lovely place with a great atmosphere. The steak was excellent as was the rest of the food and great service from the staff. Would definitely recommend!

grill your own choice of meat in front of you... it was my first time and it was so delicious. Just keep in mind the place isn't huge, so reserve in time if you want to come with a bigger group

This is the best restaurant I went for in Amsterdam. The food concept was absolutely insane, we ordered meat and I thought that I was weird that the waitress didn’t ask for the meat temperature, but there’s a reason, you cook it yourself ! How insane! Great idea, the food was lovely, our waitress Valerie was adorable ! Will definitely recommend to my friends. Good food, lovely waitress, good atmosphere, perfect for a meal in Amsterdam! This is a restaurant that I will go to the next time again. See you soon!
